About Ian Anderson

Ian first decided to study complementary therapies after seeing how Reflexology and Chiropractic had benefited his son who has Aspergers Syndrome.

The Chiropractic improved his Sons’ balance and coordination whilst the Reflexology greatly increased his levels of concentration and brain function.

Ian was so impressed with the effectiveness of the Reflexology treatments that he decided to train to become a Reflexologist so he could treat his Son himself.

After qualifying, Ian decided that he would like to help others lead more healthy and fulfilled lives by offering access to Reflexology and other complementary therapies in the home.

Reflexology

Ian is a graduate of the Northern School of Reflexology (Leeds Venue) and is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (A.O.R).

Ian’s Reflexology qualification is one of only a few that are recognized and approved by the Government. This recognition (and membership of the AOR) allows his details to be listed on the N.H.S. Register of Approved Complementary Practitioners and receive referrals from N.H.S. Professionals.

Indian Head Massage

Ian studied for and gained his VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) Level 3Diploma in Indian Head Massage at Calderdale College in Halifax.

Ian’s Indian Head Massage qualification is recognized and approved by the Federation of Holistic Therapists, which is the largest multi-disciplinary therapy organisation in the UK

Insurance & Professional Indemnity Cover

Ian holds both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance which provides cover for all treatments on offer.

Ian is in his third year as a Parent Governor at a local Halifax Primary & Infants School in Halifax and has Criminal Records Bureau Check (CRB) clearance to work with children.
